Thank you !!!! looking forward to the VDJ support for the AZ ..

for me .. still VDJ as the main platform, for library functionality, performance/programmed pads and stems of course.

(btw - for whoever is interested)
For me, bought the AZ is closest to club standard and I can test/play just from USB (Rekordbox). making sure the export works and I can find my stuff. Whenever I am able to use the laptop, using the outer 4 channels for stems with VDJ.

still strongly prefer VDJ ... also using it for my Reloop Mixtour Pro.

When will we have the Virtual DJ update that includes compatibility with the AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ?
Thank you very much!!
Greetings!!!

Yes, when will we get the update for the XDJ-AZ? Shouldn't it come in January?

Waiting in anticipation for this. Will the screen be supported like on the Prime 4? If so then worth the wait.

I would love to see a controller that have video output and could be a standalone with that kind of files.
Or is it just me ;)

Yers been waiting for that too but nobody is interested.

That's why a controller with embedded VDJ would be awesome.

I have already discovered one problem: the time in the AZ display is not changed when the pitch is changed and then differs from that in VDJ.
At first I had a brief problem switching to vinyl mode, but later it worked perfectly.
The transfer of the wave to the monitor is much more precise than with the RX3, thank you very much for that :-)

Most likely you had this with your RX3 and never noticed.
The times are sent in "absolute" mode which is not taking Pitch into account, while the VDJ skin is showing the "relative" values.
It's the device firmware that expects such values, but we ll have a look if possible to change.

Any one have an idea when this the xdj-az will be compatible with virtual dj? This thing is revolutionary in every way i use it with cdjs. I know it's newer on the market but I'm hoping they come out with the software compatibility soon

read above

Now everything is running.

I just opened rekordbox and here I was asked for the registration. Also, rekordbox wanted to install an update.

I have now restarted VDJ and the controller as well. Now everything works!

Yes, you need the latest Firmware version to use XDJ-AZ with VirtualDJ.
Most likely your unit was shipped with an older Firmware version and Rekordbox Firmware Manager updated it.

Anyway, manual is on the make and will make everything clear in a couple of days.

Ok, we have improved Vinyl Mode detection when switching between PC and USB modes.
Please try again with factory default mapper on next update and let us know if the problem has been fixed.
